View the Marina

Above is an aerial view of the marina as of 2009.  To the right is the Ohio River and, at the bottom, Short Creek flows into the Ohio.  An island separates Short Creek from the entrance channel to the marina.  A 'cut' is made to allow water from Short Creek to flow into the marina harbor thus creating a small flow of water in the harbor.  This prevents the harbor water from becoming stagnate and eliminates the possibility of mosquitoes.  To the far left, is Ohio Route 7; the closer two lane road leads into Tiltonsville.  At the top edge of the harbor is the 'East Bulkhead' which contains 27 slips.  To the right of the East Bulkhead (in the bend) is the Ships Store with the 'Main Dock'.  This Main Dock accommodates the marina's 70 foot houseboat plus has slips for 8 smaller vessels and is the Fuel Dock.  To the right of the Main Dock is the South Bulkhead which contains 18 slips and the Launch Ramp.  Docks in the entrance channel can, at this time, accommodate 2 to 4 seasonal vessels plus there is 160 feet of dock for transient vessel docking.  Around the lower and right edge of the main parking lot are Seasonal Camping spots with overnight camping just off the upper edge.  Tent camping is in the grassy area along the Ohio River.
