Upcoming Projects

This is going to be a busy season for us at Rayland Marina.  With more and more boaters wanting to move off the 'open river' and more and more campers wanting to make use of the riverside camping area, we have much to do.  Below is a list of the major projects scheduled for this summer.  Of course, we still have to perform the usual maintenance work.  We'll get the work done.........we ask only that you all bear with us.

Dredge more along East bulkhead & channel......on-going and continuous and MORE in 2012

Fabricate and install more docks on the East bulkhead.....some completed 2012

Repair some existing docks on East bulkhead......repaired some; more to come

Fabricate and install more docks in the inlet channel......10 completed; added 180 feet in 2011

Add power to docks in inlet channel......spring of 2012

Complete water line to channel docking and West campground area......line in; tie-in COMPLETE!

Install more power outlets in camping area......West area complete; East area COMPLETE!

Install new roof on picnic shelter......COMPLETE!

Complete work on new shower facilities......now functional; completion in 2012

Complete work on 'Ships Store'.......planning on something in 2012

Add pictures to website.....many added of construction; check them out; more coming

Complete work on 're-hulling' towboat.....re-hulling complete; She's up and running

Install water line and connect to County Water......line in and connected; landscaping left to do
