Rayland Marina has been described as a 'Dynamic Place'.  That is to say, since coming under new ownership in 2004, it seems there is always something going on here.  This includes construction projects such as building docks, dredging, new shower facilities or expansion of electric and water lines.  If it's not construction, it's parties both on the water and on land or fund raisers for various organizations or fishing tournaments.  The marina is fast becoming a place where people not only want to keep their boats or campers but just what to be there to enjoy life.  New people as well as current residents seem to want to keep abreast of what's happening.  It's for this reason the following categories of photos have been added. 

• Some items of general interest around the Marina.  This a collection of photos from various parties, events or general weekend activities.    Photos

• The floods of 2004 & 2005.  Some of the worst flooding in the past 40 years took place in September of '04 and again in January of '05.  The marina was not spared.      Photos

• A typical party.  Rayland Marina has two general categories of parties; one is on land the other is on water.  These photos are of a water party or 'Flotilla' as they're better known.  To attend a Flotilla party, you must either own a boat or have good friends who have a boat for that's the only way you can get there.     Photos

• Winter at Rayland Marina.  This group of photos is to show those who boat during the Summer Season just what it's like for a few diehards who go through the 'other six months'.      Photos
