Facilities at Rayland Marina
Rayland Marina is the only 'Safe Harbor' marina in the first 300 miles of the Ohio river. It consists of approximately 10 acres; the Harbor is about 5 acres and the other 5 acres constitute parking, boat storage and camping.
The marina features:
Wide, low slope launch ramp
Docking for 50 plus boats
Seasonal camping
Overnight camping for campers or motor homes
Power and water at each slip
Transient docking (day or overnight)
Gas dock featuring 89 octane fuel (diesel available with 24 hour notice)
Pump out station
Showers, restrooms and picnic shelter
Ships Store with a variety of boat related items and snacks
Bag ice
Riverside camp sites for tent camping
Assistance available for launching or retrieving larger boats
Winter and summer storage for boats and campers
If you've spent time on a boat moored 'on the river', you'll really like the 'calmness' of an 'inland harbor' marina. Launch and retrieval is, also, much easier without the river current. Another plus for Rayland Marina is it's location just up-river (less than 2 miles) from a dam; water level fluctuations are minimal (usually plus or minus 6 inches) until the river is in a major flood condition.
