Construction At Rayland Marina
Picnic Shelter Roof
Rayland Marina's picnic shelter is a very important structure. It is used not only for 'lounging around' but for several important gatherings during the year. Some of these include our scheduled parties such as Memorial day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. However, it is also used for things like American Sternwheel Association meetings, Wheeling's Sternwheel Festival Committee's Steak Fry and many other similar events. The shelter roof was needing repair especially after some high winds in 2009 and early 2010 took off much of the existing roofing. The new all steel roof was installed in the Spring of 2010.
